Our Mission
DONNA is a NYC-based community for women working across the music industry - performers, producers, managers, media, and creatives - connecting, collaborating, and building together.
DONNA exists to:
Build community among women in music
Create meaningful industry connections
Share trusted resources and education
Support access to paid opportunities
Provide a safe, supportive environment for honest conversation
The Founders
DONNA was co-founded by Andie Aronow (Women That Rock), Jacque Ryal (RYAL), and Veronika Jokel as a grassroots collective-building initiative for femmes in the music business. In a notoriously exclusionary, misogynistic industry, DONNA’s goal is to create a safe, inclusive space for women in music to connect on a personal level and support one another in a tangible way.
We believe women thrive when we are united, uplifted and informed, when tools are shared rather than gatekept, and when success is mutually celebrated.
Help us fund DONNA
Donations help cover the unflamorous-but-necessary stuff: website costs, domain fees, operation costs for our quarterly meetups and events, and the time it takes to keep this community running.
No pressure. No obligation. Just good vibes and gratitude.
